Michael Vander Pluym is an experienced technology leader with a diverse background in software development and architecture, currently serving as Director of Architecture and Director of Engineering at PEAK6 since August 2014. In this role, Michael leads the core technology and data flow development for the options trading business and has held various positions including Development Lead and Architect, focusing on both technical direction and core system components. Prior experience includes software development roles at OptionsHouse and a software development internship at Salesforce.com, alongside extensive internships and part-time contracting at Bank of America. Michael holds a degree in Computer Science and Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
