Derek Ogg is a seasoned scientific professional with extensive experience in biophysics and protein crystallography. Currently serving as the Chief Scientific Officer at Peak Proteins Ltd. since February 2016, Derek has previously held significant roles including Group Leader in Protein Crystallography at AstraZeneca from May 2007 to January 2016, Core Crystallographer at the Structural Genomics Consortium from March 2004 to March 2006, and Protein Crystallographer at Pharmacia/Biovitrum from May 1996 to March 2004. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biophysics from the University of Leeds and a BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry from the University of Stirling.
