Laura Young serves as Finance Manager and brings over 20 years accounting experience to PTI. Young is responsible for the financial health of PTI by maintaining the accounts receivable and accounts payable as well as maintaining the general ledger. Additionally, Young provides HR experience to Peachtree to manage employee files and payroll.
Prior to joining Peachtree, Young served as a controller for several entrepreneurial companies including AirNet Group, Inc.; Trinity Cable, LLC; st3.com; and R. M. Myers Company, Inc. As controller for AirNet Group, Inc., Young set up the accounting processes and procedures as well as standardized services for billing and file maintenance in all aspects of accounting. During her tenure at R. M. Myers and company, Young automated the accounting system and set up accounting procedures that remain in place today.
Young earned a BS in Accounting from Berry College and an MBA from Webster University.
