Lena Alhusseini currently serves as the County Director for the Peace Corps in Morocco and is a PhD candidate at the California Institute of Integral Studies. With a rich background in leadership and management, Lena held the position of Head of Middle East & North Africa at the International Commission on Missing Persons from 2019 to 2022, and previously served as the Executive Director at LifeWorks of Sonoma County. Notably, Lena was the Director of Child Welfare for the State of Oregon, overseeing programs for thousands of foster children and families. Lena also has extensive experience as Chief Executive Officer at the Arab American Family Support Center, managing multiple social service programs, and as an International Outreach program manager at the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.
