Kechi Achebe, MD, MPH, serves as Director at the Office of Global Health & HIV within the Peace Corps since December 2020. Previously, from February 2020 to March 2021, Kechi was the Managing Partner & CEO of the International Development & Relief Consulting Group, and from May 2013 to January 2020, held the position of Senior Director for HIV/AIDS & TB at Save the Children US. In this role, notable achievements included expanding the portfolio of human resources by 300% and funds by 500%, as well as strengthening donor relationships with agencies like USAID and the Global Fund. Prior to Save the Children, Kechi directed Africare's health portfolio, overseeing multiple health initiatives and budgets, and establishing critical relationships with stakeholders. Kechi's educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Benin, a Master of Public Health from Boston University, and participation in an Executive Leadership Program at Yale School of Management.
