Karen A. Mascari?as is currently serving as Acting Director in the Office of Communications at Peace Corps as a Biden-Harris Presidential Appointee. Prior to this role, Karen A. held positions at USAID, Globalization Partners, and various research and internship roles at organizations such as East-West Center in Washington and the United Nations Association of the National Capital Area. Karen holds a Master's Degree in Ethics, Peace, and Human Rights from American University School of International Service, as well as Bachelor's Degrees in Global Studies and Mass Media from California State University San Marcos, and International Relations and Media Studies from Swansea University.
