Dela Ariela Rostami has a long and varied work experience. In 2011, they began their career as a Fullstack UX at NBCUniversal Media, LLC. Dela Ariela then moved to the University of California, Davis in 2013, where they worked as a Design Lecturer, Teaching Assistant, and Lecturer. In 2014, they became a User Experience Consultant at Google. In 2015, they were Chief Creative Officer (CCO) at AWAYN. Dela Ariela then joined Designlab in 2017 as a UX Mentor. In the same year, they became Co-Founder, Chief Creative Officer (CCO), and Head Of User Experience at P.D.R VC. In 2019, they became a Mentor at Chegg Inc. In 2020, they were VP of Product Innovation at C9 Companion and President - Head of UX Consumer Insights + Analytics and Principal at Starseed AI. Additionally, they are a Member at WFA.

Dela Ariela Rostami obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts - BFA from Minnesota State University Moorhead in 2012, majoring in Design. Dela Ariela then went on to pursue a Master of Science - MS from the University of California, Davis in 2015, majoring in User Experience Research. In 2020, they obtained a Master Qualitative Research Methods certification from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
