James Qin is a highly skilled technical lead and engineer with extensive experience in biomedical engineering and compliance testing. Currently at PCTEST Engineering Laboratory, Inc. since February 2019, James analyzes experimental data and ensures projects meet FCC and TCB standards while developing RF exposure testing procedures. Previously, as Director of Research Development at Relavo LLC, James successfully secured over $500,000 in funding and designed a device to minimize contamination in home dialysis. James also interned at Johns Hopkins Technology Ventures, focusing on the commercialization of intellectual property, and contributed to a design team at The Johns Hopkins University, creating a low-cost device for kidney failure patients. Early research work included experiments on corneal collagen regeneration at the Wilmer Eye Institute. James holds a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University.
