Tim Mills has held various IT roles over the past 13 years. In 2020, they began working as a Systems Engineer at PCS, where they plan, designs, implements, and maintains high availability hardware and software solutions. From 2011 to 2020, they worked at Surety Title Company, first as IT Manager and then as Desktop Support Specialist. In this role, they managed IT staff, provided technical support to 200+ on-site and remote users, and administered/maintained 40+ Windows and Linux servers. From 2007 to 2011, they worked at The American Wood Finishing Institute as IT Director and Software Developer. In this role, they supervised the support of users running Windows XP, Vista, 7, Mac OS X and a server running Windows Server 2008. Tim also designed and maintained multiple company websites, improved office workflow and efficiency with process automation using VBA scripts, and designed and coded Finish Genius color formulation management software.
Tim Mills received an Associate's Degree in Network Management AAS from Cumberland County College in 2003. Tim subsequently obtained several certifications, including A+ Hardware & Software from CompTIA in December 2010, Digium Switchvox Support Engineer (dSSE) from Digium in August 2013, Digium Certified Switchvox Engineer (dCSE) v2 from Digium in September 2013, Veeam Backup & Replication Sales Professional (VMSP) and Veeam Backup & Replication Technical Sales Professional (VMTSP) from Veeam Software in September 2013, and Veeam Availability Suite Sales Professional (VMSP) and Veeam Availability Suite Technical Sales Professional (VMTSP) from Veeam Software in June 2015.
