Erik Visser is an experienced educational leader currently serving as Rector at Gerrit Rietveld College Utrecht since April 2020 and previously held the position of rector at Niftarlake College from January 2019 to April 2020. Prior to these roles, Erik served as acting rector at Niftarlake College and held various leadership positions including Department Leader for HAVO at Het Nieuwe IJsselcollege and Department Leader for MAVO and HAVO/VWO at IJsselcollege. Erik's career also includes a role as Team Leader at Clusius College Amsterdam and Antoniuscollege Bodegraven, as well as significant experience at Carmelcollege Gouda. Erik holds a Master of Educational Management from Nederlandse School voor Onderwijsmanagement and a Bachelor’s degree in History Education.
