Nahid Akhtar has extensive work experience in various roles. Nahid started their career at Delaware County Community College as a Student Librarian in 2006 and worked there until 2010. Nahid then joined Jefferson University Hospital as a Laboratory Researcher Volunteer, where they provided research support in cellular and molecular studies. In 2013, Nahid worked at McNeil Consumer Health Care as a Scientific Quality Assurance employee for a brief period. Nahid also worked at McNeil Consumer Healthcare as a Validation Consultant in Tech Ops, where they participated in cleaning cycle development activities and assisted in cleaning validation. From 2008 to 2014, Nahid worked as a Sales Associate at Easy Pickins. Since 2015, they have been working at PCI Pharma Services, starting as a Quality Coordinator and moving up to become an Associate Quality Account Manager and later an Associate Quality Account Manager II. In these roles, they have been responsible for quality analysis, complaint management, and account management.

Nahid Akhtar's education history begins in 2008 when they attended Delaware County Community College. They received an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Science for Health Professions in 2010. Later, from 2011 to 2013, Nahid Akhtar studied at Temple University. They earned a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from the College of Science and Technology at Temple University.
