Carys Lloyd has a diverse work experience. From 2019 to the present, they worked at PCI Pharma Services as a Principal Scientist and previously as a Quality Control Analyst. Prior to that, from 2013 to 2019, they worked as a Customer Service Assistant at Londis stores / Post Office. Carys also gained research experience at Cardiff University from 2015 to 2019, where they completed a degree in Chemistry with First Class Honours. During their studies, they conducted research on the biological testing of gold(I) organometallic compounds as potential anti-cancer agents. They also participated in an 8-week research placement in 2018, where they analyzed volatile organic compounds in otter spraint to explore scent signals indicating age.
Carys Lloyd completed their Master of Chemistry (MChem) degree in Chemistry from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd between 2015 and 2019. Prior to that, they attended Penydre High School from 2007 to 2014.
