Laurel Ugenti has a diverse range of work experience, primarily in the creative and marketing fields. Laurel started their career at CoActive Marketing Group in 2000, where they worked as a Project Manager. In 2008, they joined Publishers Clearing House, where they held various roles including Senior Copywriter, Head Copywriter, Associate Creative Director, and currently serves as the Creative Director. Their tenure with Publishers Clearing House has spanned over 15 years.

Laurel Ugenti holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Marketing from Adelphi University. Laurel also obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology from Stony Brook University. Additionally, Laurel Ugenti has a certification in Fundamentals of UX Writing, which they acquired from the UX Content Collective in January 2022.
