Gena Wolfe has had extensive work experience in the field of copywriting and production. Gena began their career in 1996 as a Production Assistant at Springer Publishing Company, where they worked on proofreading, copyediting, and recording production costs. Gena then moved on to Random House in 1998, where they worked as a Production Assistant, handling proofreading and preparing files for archiving. In 1998, Gena joined Columbia House as a Copywriter, responsible for writing and editing promotional copy across various mediums. From 2000 to 2007, they worked as a Senior Copywriter at Doubleday Entertainment | Bookspan, focusing on creating creative copy solutions and writing direct-to-consumer marketing materials. Since 2007, Gena has been at Publishers Clearing House, where they have held the positions of Associate Head Copywriter and currently Head Copywriter. In their current role, they develop copy concepts and solutions for multiple online media programs, with a focus on sweepstakes-driven copy and increasing direct response, revenue, and brand recognition.
Gena Wolfe studied at Queens College from 1991 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature & Anthropology.
