Dulce Maria Vlisides has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Dulce Maria is currently working at PBS Wisconsin as the Associate Director of Community Engagement & Impact. Prior to that, they worked at Madison Area Technical College in several positions, including Community Engagement Coordinator, Lead Student Recruitment & Community Outreach Coordinator, and Student Recruitment & Community Outreach Coordinator. Dulce Maria also served as the Chair of Communications at the Latino Professionals Association, Inc. Additionally, they have held roles at the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater, where they worked as a New Student Seminar Instructor and Learning Community Coordinator, as well as a Communications and Marketing Coordinator. Dulce Maria also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Texas - Pan American and as an Austin Toros Operations Intern at Spurs Sports & Entertainment. Dulce Maria Vlisides holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Communication from The University of Texas-Pan American, which they obtained from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Mass Communication/Media Studies from The University of Texas-Pan American between 2009 and 2012. In 2008 and 2009, they pursued French Studies at College Platon. Additionally, they have obtained certifications as a Certified Interviewer from Madison Area Technical College in 2021 and as a Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) from the National Career Development Association in 2018.
