Guy Dewees currently serves as the Human Resources Division Manager at the Personnel Board of Jefferson County, a position held since December 2005. In this role, Guy leads the recruitment function and manages a team responsible for recruiting activities across over eight hundred job classes for approximately 8,500 employees in seventeen cities and five government jurisdictions. Prior to this, Guy worked at AmSouth Bank from October 1992 to December 2005, where responsibilities included managing talent acquisition and employee relations for the Wealth Management Division as a Line of Business Human Resources Manager, as well as overseeing a team of recruiters and administrative staff as a Staffing Supervisor. Guy holds a Bachelor's Degree in English from the University of Mississippi.
