Rodrique Fru has held various positions in the technology industry since 1999. Rodrique began their career at Bechtel Corporation as an IT Support Specialist and later moved to Williams-Russell & Johnson, Inc. in 2004, where they also worked as an IT Support Specialist. In 2006, they joined PureRED as a Software Engineer and then moved to Mighty Distributing System of America in 2007, where they worked as a Software Engineer and designed and developed Java applications and dynamic web pages. In 2012, they joined Thomson Reuters as a Sr. Software Engineer, where they worked with a small focused development team to strategize on feature needs. In 2017, they joined MerchantE as a Vice President of Architecture, System Architect, Manager, Development Manager, and Technical Team Lead. Most recently, in 2022, they were appointed as the Chief Technology Officer at Payverse.

Rodrique Fru obtained a BS in Software Engineering from Southern Polytechnic State University between 2002 and 2005, followed by an MS in Software Engineering from the same institution between 2005 and 2006. Additionally, they have obtained two certifications: Master the OWASP Top 10 from LinkedIn in March 2020 and Certified SAFe® 4 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. in May 2018.
