Joe Proto is a board director at PayQwick and a retired executive vice president from Mastercard. Joe has also served as the president of REMITCO, which was acquired by First Data in 2000 and is now part of Fiserv. Prior to that, they were the co-founder and executive of Financial Telesis/CashFlex, which was acquired by CoreStates Bank in 1992 and is now part of Wells Fargo.

Joe Proto received their MA in Education from Maharishi International University and their BA in English from Montclair State University.
