Richard Martin is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the financial services sector, currently serving as a Senior Policy Associate at the Payment Systems Regulator since April 2022. Prior to this role, Richard held various senior positions at Barclays, including VP of Data Insights, where management of the Spend Signals platform was key in providing economic and market trend insights utilizing transaction data. Tenure at Visa Europe included roles as Head of Authentication Development and Senior Manager of Payment System Security.
