Jacques Marais is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product and project management across various companies. Currently serving as a Product Manager at PayFast since November 2019, Jacques has successfully spearheaded product initiatives alongside a skilled team of engineers and scrum masters. Prior to this role, Jacques worked as a Project Manager at EasyPay South Africa, where management of application development and optimization was key. Earlier experience includes a multifaceted position at Syntell (PTY) Ltd., managing key accounts and project delivery, and leading client relationships. Jacques began a career at Absa Group in client liaison and administrative roles. Educational qualifications include courses in Product Management and Business Systems Analysis from the University of Cape Town.
