Rajeev Prasad has held various roles in the tech industry since 1999. Rajeev began their career as a Software Analyst at Alcatel India Limited in 1999. In 2000, they joined Microsoft as a Principal Software Architect, Principal Development Manager, and Development Lead and Development Engineer. In 2012, they founded PiCubeLabs to take on the problem of personal data organization. Lastly, in 2016, they founded PayBee, a SAAS for nonprofit fundraising.

Rajeev Prasad received their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee in 1997, having started their studies there in 1993.
