Stuart Bailey currently serves as a member of the Industry Advisory Council at Pay.UK since May 2023 and as an advisor on the International Advisory Board at Newcastle University's Business School since March 2019. Stuart is a shareholder representative for the Euro Banking Association and has been the Head of Payments Industry and Regulation at Lloyds Banking Group since January 2012, where responsibilities include leading payments engagement for electronic schemes and overseeing compliance with industry design principles. Previous roles include Directorship at Faster Payments Scheme Limited and various leadership positions at Lloyds TSB Bank, focusing on transaction banking strategy, market management, and financial institutions. Stuart holds an ACIB International Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Bankers and a degree in History from Newcastle University.
