Dawn Marie Speller is an experienced educator currently serving as a 5th Grade ELA Teacher and Grade Team Lead at PAVE Academy Charter School since August 2019, focusing on rigorous inquiry-based learning and data-informed instruction. Prior to this, Dawn worked in various educational roles including as a Substitute Teacher for the Charter Substitute Teacher Network and an Elementary School Teacher in summer academies. Dawn's background also includes significant experience in the beauty industry, holding positions such as Sales and Education Manager at Cane + Austin and Freelance Makeup Artist. Dawn holds a Master of Education from Relay Graduate School of Education, along with a Bachelor's degree in International Trade and Marketing and an Associate's degree in Advertising Marketing Communications from the Fashion Institute of Technology. Additionally, Dawn is certified in Makeup Artistry from Empire Beauty School.
