Damian Kruger serves as the Group Food Safety & Quality Systems Manager and Quality & Environment Manager at Patties Food Group since April 2021, overseeing the implementation of various food safety and quality standards. Prior to this, Damian held the position of Quality Assurance Manager at Oakdale Meat Company, where responsibilities included ensuring compliance with industry standards for a broad range of meat products. Damian's early career included a position as Quality Systems Specialist at McCormick & Company, where the focus was on internal audits. At Fonterra, spanning over two decades, Damian progressed through several roles, culminating in Quality Systems Manager, responsible for the overall Quality Management System. The career also includes a foundational role as a Chemistry Laboratory Technician at Bonlac Foods. Damian holds a Master's degree in Business/Commerce from Deakin University, a Bachelor's degree in Science from the University of Melbourne, and a Diploma of Food Science and Technology from the National Centre for Dairy Education Australia, along with additional certifications in food safety auditing and HACCP principles.
