Lea Friend is an experienced occupational therapist currently working at Patriot at Home since April 2023 and serving as an adjunct instructor at EHOVE/Lorain Occupational Therapy Assistant Program since August 2018. Previous experience includes roles as a student occupational therapist at UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL CLEVELAND MEDICAL CENTER and Crestview Local School District, along with a tenure as a certified occupational therapy assistant at Lorain County Board of Mental Health, Encore Rehabilitation Services, Mercy Health, and Blue Sky Therapy. Prior to these positions, Lea was employed as a home health aide and a patient account representative at Fisher-Titus Medical Center. Lea holds a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Muskingum University and has obtained several relevant associate degrees and certifications in the healthcare field.
