Amy Buckley is currently an advisor at PatientWisdom, Inc. Prior to that, they were the Director of Global Loyalty Marketing - SPG at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. from February 2012 to August 2015. In that role, they led a team that developed digital marketing, social media and mobile strategies designed to drive brand affinity and growth for Starwood's SPG loyalty program.
Some of their notable accomplishments while at Starwood include developing a comprehensive marketing strategy that utilized a mix of digital and mobile tools to communicate the power of the SPG program, leading the strategy to redesign and roll out the mobile optimized version of spg.com, and partnering with the Mobile team to develop the go to market strategy and launch plan for the SPG apps for iPhone, Android & iPad in English & Chinese.
Under their leadership, the social media team not only grew the social channels, but also increased engagement with members. Amy developed a global content strategy to increase social mentions of SPG, drive traffic & revenue to spg.com. Amy also defined social & paid media KPIs & developed a tagging structure to measure & refine content strategy globally. These efforts allowed their team to quickly identify trends & modify paid media strategy to increase engagement & spend.
Amy Buckley has a Master of Science degree in Integrated Marketing from Northwestern University and a BA in English from Hobart and William Smith Colleges.
