Matthew Gitelis started his career as a financial analyst covering mergers & acquisitions and capital raises for clients based in Chicago, New York, and Toronto. After leaving the world of Wall Street, he worked as a senior researcher at NorthShore University HealthSystem and Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush in Chicago where he learned firsthand the many challenges facing healthcare data & analytics professionals. He is an author on more than 30 peer reviewed papers and has presented at academic meetings around the world. He is currently on a leave of absence from Rush Medical College while he leads the team at PatientIQ.
