Tracy Wang

Tracy Wang's work experience begins in 2014 when they joined the Duke Clinical Research Institute as the Director of Education. Tracy then became the Chair of the American Heart Association Quality of Care and Outcomes Research Council from 2017 to 2019. In 2015, Tracy joined the DCRI Research Fellowship as the Associate Director, a role they held until 2018. During their time at the Duke Clinical Research Institute, they took on various positions, including Associate Director from 2018 to 2020 and Director of Health Services Research from 2018 to 2021. From 2008 to 2020, Tracy served as an Associate Professor at Duke University Medical Center. In 2020, they also became the Chair of the American Heart Association Council Operations Committee. Currently, Tracy is working as the Professor of Medicine at Duke University and will be starting their role as the Chief of Comparative Effectiveness Research at the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute in 2022.

Tracy Wang's education history includes a Bachelor's Degree in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale University, followed by a Master's Degree in the same field from the same institution. Tracy then pursued a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree at Harvard Medical School. Subsequently, Tracy obtained a Master's Degree in Clinical Research from Duke University. Tracy also completed an Internal Medicine Residency Program at Brigham and Women's Hospital from 2001 to 2004. Tracy furthered his/her medical training by completing a Cardiology fellowship program at Duke University Hospital from 2004 to 2007.
