Katherine Maloney has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations. Katherine is currently working as the Associate Director of Internal Communications at the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) since September 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Internal Communications at the American Academy of PAs from October 2017 to September 2022.
Before joining the American Academy of PAs, Katherine worked at the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) from November 2007 to September 2017. During their time at MOAA, they held multiple roles including Digital Content Manager from June 2011 to October 2017, Member Service Assistant from May 2009 to June 2011, and Member Service Representative from November 2007 to May 2009.
As a Digital Content Manager, Katherine was responsible for coordinating with content creators to manage and maintain digital platforms, optimize content for search engines and member engagement, and ensure communication and content strategy goals were met. In their role as a Member Service Assistant, they analyzed and delivered reports on membership data and recruitment efforts, as well as managed billing processes and membership payments for the association's 380,000 members.
Katherine Maloney pursued their education from 2003 to 2007 at James Madison University. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree with a major in English.
