Dasha Migunov

Engagement Award Program Officer at Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute

Dasha Migunov has a diverse range of work experience in various organizations and roles. Dasha is currently working at the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) as an Engagement Award Program Officer. Prior to this, they served as a Dissemination & Implementation Officer at PCORI.

From 2020 to 2021, Dasha worked at CORE (Community Organized Relief Effort) in multiple positions, including Director of Technical Services, Technical Director for Public Health Programs, and Director of Contact Tracing.

In 2020, they were a Lead Investigator for the DC Contact Trace Force at the DC Department of Health.

Dasha has also worked at Abt Associates, where they held roles such as Senior Associate in the International Development Division, Associate in the International Health Division, and Senior Analyst in the International Health Division, spanning from 2010 to 2020.

Dasha began their career at JSI | John Snow, Inc. in 2008, serving as a Data Analyst for Improving Supply Chains for Community Case Management of Common Childhood Diseases and as a Program Officer for the USAID DELIVER PROJECT.

Earlier in their career, Dasha worked at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health as a Regional Survey Manager for the Afghanistan National Health Services Performances Assessment and as a Program Assistant for the Center for Refugee and Disaster Response.

Dasha also gained experience as a Global Health Intern at the Council on Foreign Relations and as a Corporate Development Assistant at Operation Blessing China.

Additionally, Dasha worked as an English Second Language Teacher at Beijing Language and Culture University and as an Assistant Language Teacher through the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program(me) (JET).

Throughout their career, Dasha has demonstrated a strong commitment to public health and international development.

Dasha Migunov pursued a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service with a focus on Culture and Politics from Georgetown University Walsh School of Foreign Service between 1997 and 2001. Following this, they continued their education and obtained a Master of Health Science in International Health Systems from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health from 2006 to 2008.
