Shanice Gomire currently serves as a Vocational Development Specialist Supervisor with the Government of the District of Columbia since 2021, bringing extensive experience in vocational development and support services. Prior to this role, Shanice worked as a Monitor at Arlington Street People's Assistance Network since November 2011 and held the position of Vocational Development Specialist with the DC Government from October 2017 to January 2021. In earlier roles, Shanice served as a Case Manager at New Hope Housing from May 2014 to October 2017 and as a Resident Service Worker with Volunteers of America from August 2010 to May 2014. Shanice earned a Master of Arts in Human Resource Development from Bowie State University between 2018 and 2020, following a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Dubuque from 2006 to 2010.
