Rebecca Starborne has a diverse work experience. Rebecca began their career in 2008 as a Network Administrator for the United States Air Force, where they specialized in Cyber Transport, Computer Networking, Switching and Cryptographic Maintenance, Cisco & Brocade configurations, Network Diagrams and VoIP implementation. In 2011, they moved to Epsilon Inc. as a Certification and Accreditation specialist. In 2014, they changed roles again to become a Computer Security Engineer for PatchAdvisor, Inc. Finally, in 2015, Rebecca became a Parkour Athlete and Instructor for Urban Evolution.

Rebecca Starborne obtained an Associates degree in Electronic Systems Technologies from the Community College of the Air Force between 2008 and 2011. Rebecca also holds certifications from Duolingo in French and Spanish Fluency (estimated) obtained in October 2015, an Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) obtained in June 2015, a Certified Hacking Forensic Investigator (C|HFI) from EC-Council obtained in July 2010, an EC-Council Certified Security Analyst (E|CSA) obtained in July 2010, a Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH) obtained in May 2010, a Certified Network Defense Architecht (C|NDA) obtained in May 2010, a Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician obtained in June 2018, and a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA | CCENT) obtained in July 2010.
