Simone Baechle is an experienced educator and dance specialist with a strong background in teaching and curriculum development. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at Touro College since June 2017, Simone oversees the SEDN 618 course, focusing on teaching arts and physical education for students with disabilities. As the founding dance educator at Passaic Public Schools, Simone implements a comprehensive dance program for over 200 students annually. Previous roles include positions as a Dance Specialist with the NYC Department of Education and various teaching and administrative roles in dance at institutions such as Rutgers University, Virtuoso Performing Arts Academy, and The Joffrey Ballet. Simone holds an EdM in Dance Education from Rutgers University and a BS in English and Dance from Northwestern University.
