Shari R. is an experienced LCSW-Therapist currently practicing at MindSpa Therapeutic Wellness Center LLC since October 2021. With an extensive background in social work, Shari R. also serves as LCSW-IIC/IIH at Empower U. and as a School Counselor and School Based Social Worker for Passaic Public Schools since September 2012. Previous roles include Special Education Teacher at Martin Luther King School and School Social Work Intern at Lincoln Middle School and Cicely Tyson School of Visual & Performing Arts. Shari R. holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from New York University and has numerous certifications, including in Yoga Therapy and Trauma Informed practices. Key contributions include the development of a Career and College Readiness program and significant experience in counseling, creating educational materials, and facilitating workshops for parents and students.
