Valerie Jules McCarthy, Esq. is an experienced attorney currently serving as a matrimonial litigator at Pashman Stein Walder Hayden PC since November 2015, where responsibilities include handling various legal matters for corporate and individual clients throughout the New York metropolitan area. McCarthy also contributes to the firm as co-chair of both the Hiring Committee and the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. Prior experience includes serving as a member of the Board of Trustees for the American Civil Liberties Union of New Jersey from June 2016 to June 2018, and practicing as an attorney at Kozyra & Hartz, LLC from December 2010 to November 2015. McCarthy began legal career as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Kenneth J. Grispin in the Superior Court of New Jersey and held summer associate positions at Krebs Farley & Pelleteri and Entergy Legal Services. McCarthy earned a Juris Doctor degree from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Lehigh University.
