Jerremy Holland is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in artificial intelligence and machine learning, currently serving as the Chair of the Board of Directors at Partnership on AI since August 2018 and as Director of AI Research at Apple Inc. since January 2005. Holland leads a research group focused on machine intelligence, while previously working on AI for autonomous technologies. As the owner of Fringe Studios, Holland produces albums for local musicians. Prior to these roles, key contributions were made at Pixar Animation Studios, where Holland managed the Studio Tools Infrastructure R&D Group, and at Rainfinity, where Holland directed engineering efforts that secured significant funding. Earlier career milestones include leadership roles at Hewlett-Packard Laboratories, ECS Telecom, Trace Products, and Texas Instruments. Jerremy Holland holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
