Mauricio Ramos serves as Co-Chair of the Board at the Partnership for Central America since March 2024, focusing on economic opportunities in underserved populations across Central America. Ramos is a member of the Board of Trustees at Meridian International Center and a Commissioner at the Broadband Commission for Sustainable Development, emphasizing the importance of broadband access. Additionally, Ramos has held a position on the board of directors at Charter Communications since May 2016 and has been with Millicom (Tigo) since April 2015, where leadership has transformed the company into a key player in the digital landscape of Latin America. Past roles include Chair of the U.S. Colombia Business Council for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and Chair of the Digital Communications Industry Community at the World Economic Forum. Ramos began as President of Liberty Global's Latin America Division in 1999. Education includes degrees in Financial Legislation, Law, and Economics from Universidad de Los Andes and an IB Diploma from Pearson College.
