Cristina Downey serves as the Chief Underwriting Officer at PartnerRe since January 2012, where the focus is on risk evaluation and distribution. Prior to this role, Cristina held positions such as Chief Medical Underwriter at Aviva USA and Associate Chief Underwriter at Underwriting Consulting Services. Additional experience includes serving as Principal at ACE Tempest Life Re USA and various Chief Underwriter roles across organizations including MIB and XL Re Life. Earlier in the career, Cristina worked as AVP Underwriting at Swiss Re Life and Underwriting Director at Knights of Columbus. Cristina's education includes a high school degree from Santa Union, completed between 1968 and 1972.
