Debbie Gillespie has had a long and varied work experience. Debbie began their career in 1999 as an Associate Software Engineer at Infinite Graphics Incorporated. In 2004, they moved to the University of Minnesota, where they worked as a Software Engineer and Lead Web Applications Engineer. In 2017, they joined Particle, where they have held the roles of Site Reliability Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer II, Senior Site Reliability Engineer, and Engineering Manager.

Debbie Gillespie attended the University of Minnesota from 1997 to 2004, earning a BS in Computer Science and English. Debbie then returned to the University of Minnesota from 2006 to 2008, earning an MS in Software Engineering.
