Janneke Damen-Thissen currently serves as an arts docent at Spaarne Gasthuis since March 2022. Previously, from September 2022 to May 2023, Janneke held the position of waarnemend klinisch geriater at Amphia. Janneke has extensive experience in geriatrics, having served as a klinisch geriater and medisch manager geriatrie at Rode Kruis Ziekenhuis from March 2012 to July 2022, where responsibilities included quality of care and maintaining relationships with primary care providers. Prior roles include klinisch geriater at LangeLand Ziekenhuis from June 2010 to February 2012 and waarnemend klinisch geriater at Albert Schweitzer ziekenhuis from September 2009 to May 2010. Janneke's educational background includes studying at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam from 1997 to 2004 and completing training at Noordwest Ziekenhuisgroep, Alkmaar, from 2004 to 2009.
