Dean Steptoe has over 20 years of work experience in various roles within the software development industry. Dean has served as a CIO at Parlay Games Inc., where they oversaw the reboot of Parlay Games and led the development of a new Class II Bingo product. Dean also worked as a Principal Consultant at Arctic Red Consulting, Inc. In addition, Dean served as a Software Architect at SOTI, where they were responsible for the development of a multi-tenant data analytics product. Prior to that, they worked as a Sr. Application Architect at Istuary Innovation Group, where they led the development of business management tools. Dean also worked as a Software Architect at The Active Network, focusing on the Hunting & Fishing and Camping lines of business. Dean has extensive experience in technical leadership, design, and development, as well as project management. Dean began their career as a Java Developer at ReserveAmerica, where they designed and developed the first-ever Internet and call centre reservation system for campgrounds.

Dean Steptoe attended Carleton University from 1993 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor of Mathematics degree with a focus on Computer Science.
