Heather Norland is an Optometric Technician at Parkside Eye Care since June 2023, providing eye care services and performing diagnostic tests. Additionally, Heather serves as Treasurer and Events Chair for the Carolina Pre-Optometry Association, coordinating events to educate members about Optometry school applications. As a Certified Nursing Assistant at Carol Woods Retirement Center since May 2023, Heather assists patients with daily activities. Heather also volunteers at UNC Hospitals and mentors Chemistry students at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where a Bachelor of Science in Psychology is being pursued. Prior experience includes hosting at Top of the Hill, membership in the Scale and Coin Society, and significant involvement as Secretary for Key Club International, where community service events were organized.
