Brian Cornforth is an experienced fire service professional with a robust career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Fire Chief for Parkland County since March 2016, Brian previously held the position of Deputy Fire Chief of Planning and Office of Emergency Management for the City of Edmonton from January 2015 to March 2016. Prior to that role, Brian was the Fire Chief for the City of Lethbridge from June 2002 to January 2015 and held the position of Fire Chief for the City of Airdrie from November 1992 to June 2002. Brian's educational background includes studies in Jasper, Alberta, and at the University of Calgary.
