Mac McCarley serves as a Partner in Local Government and Public Policy at Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP since March 2012, specializing in municipal and governmental transactions, tort case defense, sports facility negotiations, and representation of elected officials. Previously, Mac held the position of City Attorney for the City of Charlotte from December 1994 to December 2011, where notable achievements included negotiating the return of an NBA franchise and leading negotiations for the NASCAR Hall of Fame. Mac's earlier experience includes serving as City Attorney for the City of Greenville, NC, and as Assistant General Counsel for the NC League of Municipalities. Academic credentials include a JD from the University of North Carolina School of Law and a BA in Religion from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
