Director Of Payroll And Benefits Administration at Park Place Seniors Living

Gil Vicente has a diverse work experience in payroll and benefits administration. Gil started their career as a Project Analyst at Alderwoods Group in 2002 and worked there until 2007. Gil then worked as a Payroll Administrator at ICBC from 2011 to 2013. Following that, they served as a Payroll Compliance and Reporting Advisor at Provincial Health Services Authority-Health Shared Services BC from 2013 to 2015, and then at BC Clinical and Support Services from 2015 to 2016. Gil took on the role of Payroll Team Leader - Benefits at School District #36 (Surrey) / Surrey Schools from 2016 to 2017. From 2017 to 2021, Gil worked as a Payroll Manager, HR Operations at HSBC. Gil then joined Paper Excellence as a Payroll Manager in 2022 and currently holds the position of Director of Payroll and Benefits Administration at Park Place Seniors Living, Inc. starting in 2023.

Gil Vicente obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of the Philippines. Gil also completed a Diploma in Computerized Accounting Technology from the Vancouver Institute of Business and Technology. In addition, they achieved Level 4 certification from the Certified General Accountants of BC (now Chartered Professional Accountants of BC). Gil Vicente further enhanced their education with certifications from the Canadian Payroll Association, including the Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) and Certified Payroll Manager. Gil obtained the PCP certification in August 2015 and the Certified Payroll Manager certification in June 2017. Gil's education also involved studying Compensation Strategy and Organizational Behavior at the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
