Kelly Wachel, APR, currently serves as the Chief Communications Officer for Park Hill School District, a position held since July 2022, after previously leading marketing and communications at Kansas City Public Schools and serving as Executive Director of Public Relations at both Lee's Summit R-7 School District and Center School District 58. With extensive experience in managing communications departments, media relations, advertising campaigns, and community outreach initiatives, Kelly has authored two books focused on the role of public relations in education. Educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from the University of Kansas and accreditation in Public Relations obtained in 2018.
