Lori Colbert currently serves as the Lead Principal and Director of District Honors Programs at Park Forest - Chicago Heights District 163, a position held since July 2017, following a 14-year teaching career within the same district. Prior to this role, Lori taught as a 7th Grade Language Arts Teacher at South Holland School District 150, focusing on spelling, writing, and grammar for seventh-grade students. Lori Colbert's educational background includes a Doctor of Education in Educational Policy, Organization, & Leadership with a concentration on Diversity & Equity from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and multiple advanced degrees in School Leadership and Curriculum and Instruction from Olivet Nazarene University, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Governors State University.
