Katalin Genius has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Katalin is currently working at Douglas as the Head of Group Communications, a position they have held since July 2023. Prior to joining Douglas, Katalin worked at Continental, where they served as a Managerin Media Relations from September 2019 to September 2021. Katalin also had a role as a Junior Managerin, Media Relations from October 2017 to August 2019. Before their tenure at Continental, Katalin gained experience at TUI as a Werkstudentin and Praktikantin Group Corporate & External Affairs, and at FAKTOR 3 AG as a Praktikantin on the Team Food und Retail. Katalin also worked as a Praktikantin in Filmproduktion at BRAINPOOL Artist & Content Services GmbH and as a Praktikantin in TV-Produktion at Norddeutscher Rundfunk, NDR. Katalin's earliest work experience was as an Au Pair in Great Britain.

Katalin Genius completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Public Relations from Fachhochschule Hannover between 2014 and 2017. In 2016, they also obtained a certification in Marketing from Hochschule Hannover.
