Israel Klein

Israel is an experienced commercial and class action litigator, representing domestic and international individuals and entities in courts throughout the State of New York and in arbitrations across the United States. Israel is a formidable attorney with an impressive record of success, obtaining millions of dollars for his clients. Notably, following one of Israel’s recent class action lawsuits, the City of New York dismissed and refunded $26 million in invalid parking tickets. Israel is regularly quoted by the media, including Fox News and the New York Post, and has been selected to the Super Lawyers Metro New York Rising Stars List in 2018 and 2019.

Prior to joining Pardalis & Nohavicka, LLP, Israel practiced commercial and class action litigation with another New York City law firm, served as law clerk to the Honorable Martin G. Cronin (New Jersey Superior Court, Essex County), and acted as a New Jersey Superior Court trained mediator. Israel also completed internships with the Honorable Joseph F. Bianco (formerly sitting on the United States District Court, Eastern District of New York, currently sitting on the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit), former Councilman David G. Greenfield (New York City Council, 44th District), the Kings County District Attorney’s Office, as well as several New York City law firms.

Israel graduated from the Fordham University School of Law, where he received the Archibald R. Murray Public Service Award and a student leadership award for his various pro bono contributions. During law school, Israel served as a member of the Unemployment Action Center, where he represented claimants in their unemployment insurance appeals before New York State administrative law judges. Israel also served as secretary of the Prisoners’ Rights Advocates and, as a student practitioner at Fordham’s Criminal Defense Clinic, assisted in the representation of two Guantanamo Bay detainees and other indigent defendants. Israel also served as a member of the Fordham Intellectual Property, Media and Entertainment Law Journal.
