Kumiko Takano has over three decades of experience in the editorial field, currently serving as a Senior Editor at Parco Co., Ltd since September 1992 and leading the editorial department of the online magazine "ACROSS," which was launched in October 2000. In addition to this role, Kumiko is a part-time lecturer at both Showa Women's University since September 2019 and Bunka Gakuen University since April 2012. Kumiko holds a Master's degree in Sociology with a focus on Fashion and Media Communications from Rikkyo University and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Cultural Studies/Critical Theory and Analysis at Keio University.
